OUR JOURNEY

SEE U APP was born from the impossible, grew out of necessity, fell, and now comes back even stronger to fulfill its mission.

It all started with our dream and our real need.

One of us, Arthur, our partner, was born with severe visual impairment.

From early on, we believed together that technology could be our ally to see the world in a different way.

Our pain became innovation. Sérgio, our co-founder, also lived with a degenerative disease. He was an inspiration to our entire team. And, as if written by God Himself, he passed away in the same month that SEE U APP was launched. We felt as if he had waited just to see this legacy come to life.

Throughout our journey, we won awards, and more importantly, helped more than 9,000 people in 15 countries. We built a waiting list of 70,000 people.

We turned down a buyout offer from a tech giant because our mission to make the blind "see" spoke louder.

But life didn’t stop testing us. Soon after this recognition, Arthur received a tough diagnosis: throat cancer, with only nine months left to live.

A simple flu turned into hospitalization, which turned into a 42-day coma.

While the team struggled to keep SEE U APP afloat, Jaqueline, our partner, was in the daily battle alongside Arthur and his baby.

During this time, we lost the company, the family home, and almost everything we had. We felt deep shame at not being able to help those who believed in SEE U APP.

But God never lets go of those who persist. After a long time, Arthur came back, cured of cancer. And we decided: it’s time for a new beginning.
